As urban youth workers, pastors, and volunteers we run into so many different challenges when it comes to working with youth and their families. Often times the resources we have to use are good but not relevant for urban youth. Sometimes we are in need of a suicide prevention counselor and don’t have anyone good to turn to. This resource guide is here to support and equip urban youth workers, pastors, and volunteers with resources that are right here in the Twin Cities for our use. It is important to note that the resources entered here are done so by people in the trenches who have used the resource and found it helpful, or in some cases not helpful, for their context. These resources are rated by experience of those people who are connected to this network. Please use your own careful judgment when using one of these resources.
